Specialties & Procedures: Gastric bypass/Lap Band weight-loss surgery
Also known as Bariatric Surgery

In a joint partnership with Southwest Washington Medical Center, Pacific Surgical Specialists offer exceptional, multidisciplinary approaches for the treatment of life threatening obesity. The Center offers weight-loss (bariatric) surgery, for men and women who are at least 100 pounds overweight, suffer from related health conditions and have unsuccessfully tried other weight-loss methods.

The surgical team specializes in laparoscopic surgery which involves smaller incisions, less pain and faster recovery times for patients. Our partnership with Southwest Washington Medical center provides you extended behavioral and nutritional services to move forward with your life after surgery. The ongoing support and education allows you to make the most of your life as you continue to manage your weight.

In addition to our surgical team, Pacific Surgical Specialists provides an experienced surgical nursing staff, including a dedicated psychosocial nurse therapist and group leader. Individual support is available in our offices, by phone and over the Internet.

Our staff provides regular monthly support groups for those interested in bariatric surgery, those who have successfully completed the surgery and for those needing help getting back on track. Therapists are also available through referral and a select group of individual professionals can assist you if needed.

Dr. Cagle and Dr. Dally have been performing laparoscopic bariatric surgery since 1999. To date, they have performed over 400 operations. In fact, Dr. Cagle and Dr. Dally performed the first laparoscopic bariatric surgery in the Northwest.
